Anubis, 9" high (SA055)

Anubis was a jackal headed god of the Egyptian underworld. His duties included conducting the souls of the dead to the underworld and the weighing of their hearts. The son of Osiris and Nephthys, he is credited with inventing the art of embalming. Made of cold cast resin & hand painted, this statue is perfect for any collection. 9" high.

Anubis in his depiction of a jackal, as opposed to a jackal headed man. He is seated on a pedestal, which is covered with hieroglyphs. In gentle repose, perhaps he is contemplating the next spirit whom he will take to the underworld. Made from cold cast resin & hand painted. 5 3/4" high.

Our largest statue of Anubis, standing at 15 1/2" high, this piece depicts the god of the underworld in his full regalia and glory. The inventor of embalming, and the leader of souls to the underworld, Anubis is one of the most famous & noticeable gods of the Egyptian pantheon. Anubis, Small, 5 1/2" in length, (SA393)

Anubis, the son of Osiris and Nephthys, is portrayed here in his jackal form, though he is more commonly represented as a jackal headed man. Anubis attained his fame after conducting the first embalming in history on his father Osiris, whom was dismembered by his brother, Set. This granted Osiris immortality, and both father and son ruled of aspects of the underworld. This statue is cold cast resin & hand painted. He is 5 1/2" in length.

Bast, Large W/ Staff (SB312)

Bast, a cat headed Egyptian goddess representing the positive aspects of the sun, is shown here in her pseudo human form. Her city in Egypt was Bubastis, was home to a huge cat cemetery. Cats were considered sacred in ancient Egypt. Bast was the mother of Nefertum, who completed the Memphis Triad. This statue is made of cold cast resin & hand painted. The scepter is removable. Isis, Open Winged (9"h x 13"w) (SI381)

Isis, open winged, and in her full glory. Shown here in her later image, that with horns and disk, Isis was the most venerated goddess in Egypt. She was the mother of Horus the Younger and wife and sister of Osiris. Considered to be the greatest magician of all time, Isis' accomplishments include bringing Osiris back to life and helping him become a god in the underworld and forcing the god Ra to reveal his secret name to her. Canopic jars, set of 4, (SC116)

Canopic Jars were used to hold the organs of the dead after they were embalmed. The lids were commonly carved to resemble the four sons of Horus. The four organs housed by the jars were the lungs, the stomach, the liver and the intestines. Egyptians held no regard for the brain, which was discarded. The heart was left inside the body, to be judged in the afterlife. The set of four Canopic jars are cold cast resin & hand painted. They are all 3 3/4" high

Isis, Large (17"high)(SI278)

Isis is considered to be the best representation of the goddess in the history of man. Worshipped throughout ancient Egypt, she gradually took on the attributes and functions of all the other important goddesses. She was the mother of Horus the Younger and wife of Osiris, who was also her brother. Considered to be the greatest magician in the universe, Isis forced the god Ra to reveal his secret name to her, resurrected her husband Osiris after his dismemberment by Set, and protected the son of Horus the Younger Amset. Her functions also included those of motherhood, healing the sick and marital devotion. She is depicted here with the disk & horns she absorbed from Hathor. Horus, Osiris & Isis (SH095)

Horus, was the son of Osiris, god of the underworld, and Isis, the most venerated goddess of Egypt. This triad was the one most widespread through Egypt. Horus would go on to father four sons with Isis, whom are greatly associated with the Canopic Jars, which held the organs after mummification. This statue is cold cast resin & hand painted.
